Quality Management System
All our companies work to a Quality Management System, as defined in BS EN ISO 9001/pr EN9120 and approved by the BSI. KPW are also approved to pr EN9100. We work in partnership with the BSI, who carry out regular audits to ensure compliance with these standards.
Scope of this Accreditation
Specialist processing and stockholding of precision strip, sheet, wire, tube, tape, strip, braid, bunched and stranded wire rope and cable in a comprehensive range of precision alloys. These include stainless steel alloys, nickel and nickel alloys, resistance alloys of nickel chrome and cupro-nickel, titanium and titanium alloys, aluminium, copper and copper alloys, carbon spring steel and mild steel. Processing and services include: Slitting, shearing, edge dressing….Wire drawing, strand annealing, wire straightening and cutting to length, flat wire and tape rolling, wire rolling, wire spooling including multi-end wire, wire cleaning including vibro-polishing, ultrasonic, braiding, bunching and stranding for wire rope and cable manufacture.
To achieve this objective, our quality system meets or exceeds the criteria of BS EN ISO 9001 and pr EN 9120 (& pr EN 9100). We review our processes regularly to ensure an efficient and robust process is in place at all times, with necessary support and resources available. All of the Knight Group employees receive regular training to maintain familiarity and adherence to our Quality Management System. The commitment from our employees ensures the supply and processing of all material, meets the standards set. As a result, we are consistently able to comply with customers’ demands, delivering quality products and processing.
Testing Equipment
The Quality Control Department is equipped with an extensive range of modern testing equipment to ensure the consistent quality and repeatability of all of our products. All equipment is maintained in the highest condition and accuracy is verified by regular internal and external calibration.
The Knight Group at all times comply with statutory and regulatory requirements. Additionally, we conduct our business in strict compliance with all applicable domestic and international legal standards. We strive to ensure business ethics are practiced with particular emphasis on free competition and rejection of any form of corruption.
